Job Description: AZ Shunt Truck Drivers Ottawa, ON We’re actively sourcing AZ Drivers with shunting experience for a large client in the Ottawa area. With almost a century in operation this client has formed many strong business relationships within the food service industry. This job would require you to drive a shunting truck for in yard and Tractor for shunting trailers 3 km’s away. Job details: Pay: $22/hr Shifts: Tuesday-Friday Hours: 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Location: East end of Ottawa in the Industrial sector Responsibilities: • Pull trailers from docks and place in their correct yards as instructed • Put in trailers as instructed into doors • Ensure correct temperature settings at specific Client Distribution Centres are required • Position trailers within the local Distribution Centres to meet facility layout • Move trailers between facilities as required including retrieval of empties from the main yard • Follow all guidelines that are established in the shunters/facilities manual • Assist drivers at the facilities so they can effectively hook up to their trailers. This includes assisting the lowering or raising of the equipment if needed. • Follow all safety rules as outline by company policies and manuals • Pre-trip truck • Check with dispatch and request a driver’s DWR (Driver’s Work Record) • Fill out information on the PNET unit when required. This includes trailer numbers when required. • When at the main yard or warehouse’s, the driver must follow instructions laid out by lead hand/warehouse supervisor. This may include shunting trailers Requirements: • Criminal Record search may be required as part of the onboarding process • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws • Strong time management and customer service skills • Attention to detail What we offer: • Paid weekly • Vacation Pay accrual • Overtime paid after 44 hours • Working in a diverse environment Apply Today! #drivers

Submission Requirements: • Valid AZ License • 2 years of verifiable shunting or AZ Driving experience • Previous experience with Ottawa Shunt trucks considered an asset • Abstract and CVOR printed within the last 30 days of application
